HARWICH Runners are on track for one of their greatest achievements.
The club have made a flying start to 2013, finishing second at last week’s penultimate 53-12 Cross-Country League race.
It means they are in with a shout of a top-three finish overall when the last leg takes place next month.
Harwich chairman Peter Gooding says that would be a phenomenal achievement, given that his club are up against bigger outfits like Colchester Harriers, Springfield Striders and Ipswich Jaffa.
“A top-three finish is still very possible,” he said.
