CHASE Lane Primary School’s girls’ football team have been crowned regional champions.
They won every game, without conceding a goal, during the tournament in Clacton.
The Dovercourt team won their group, winning all their games by beating Hamford Academy, Kirby, Rolph and Great Clacton Primary Schools, scoring a total of 14 goals.
The team then went on to beat Great Clacton 1-0, in a nail-biting final. The school have now booked their place at the county finals, where they will represent the Tendring district for the second year in a row, in Chelmsford on November 18.
