FORMER Harwich and Parkeston and Little Oakley striker Jordan Heath is being watched by Football League scouts.
Two talent-spotters from Dagenham and Redbridge and one from Charlton Athletic were at Brightlingsea Regent’s North Road for last week’s 2-0 victory at home to title-chasing Wroxham.
At that stage it was unclear who they were watching.
However, Regent boss James Webster has discovered the player in question was Heath – who netted his side’s second goal against the Yachtsmen.
“Apparently it’s the third time Jordan’s been watched in six weeks,” said Webster, whose side were left without a game on Saturday, following the postponement of their Ryman League division one north match at Heybridge Swifts.
“It’s great clubs of that stature have taken notice of how well he’s been playing since joining us and I really hope something comes from it.”
