LITTLE Oakley joint-manager Paul Sadler says his side cannot afford any complacency in their quest for a top-three finish.
The Acorns are fifth in the Essex and Suffolk Border League premier division after last week’s 3-1 victory against Barnston.
Saturday’s success represented a welcome return to winning ways, after the frustration of a disappointing draw at Boxted Lodgers.
And Sadler hopes his players can keep their standards high – starting with tomorrow’s match at home to Tiptree Jobserve.
“We’re still there or thereabouts with the top pack in the league,” said the Acorns joint-boss, who runs the side along with Sean Tynan.
“But due to postponements, it means we’ve got a tough run-in come March and April.
“That means it’s so important we pick up maximum points in our games between now and then, starting with Tiptree Jobserve.
“We can’t afford any complacency and will line up tomorrow in determined mood, in search of another three points.”
