THE semi-finals were held in the Harwich Ladies’ Sunday League Knockout Cup.
In the first contest, the British Flag were up against the Village Oaks and the latter sealed their progress after forging an unbeatable 6-0 lead.
They won both the triples, the three doubles and the first of the singles.
The Flag then rallied and won four of the last five singles, making the final score 7-4.
In the other semi-final, the Queens won both the triples against the Royal.
They then took two of the three doubles, needing two more games to win the match, before going on to win the singles 6-0.
This made the final score 10-1.
