IND Coope A had a narrow win at the Cricket Club, in the Harwich Men’s League.

This was thanks to Andy Barton, who won the last game for a 5-3 victory.

Ray Lovett, for the Cricketers, scored a 180.

Second-in-the-table Squirrels were beaten 5-3 by mid-table Little Oakley.

Squirrels were 3-2 up but lost the last three games for a 5-3 win.

Oakley’s Stuart Kerridge won the final game to secure victory.

In the derby, Hanover A beat Hanover B 8-0 and Rob Good scored a 180 for the A team.

Maybush beat United Services 7-1 and the only winner for the Services was Kurt Attridge. With only ten games to play, Ind Coope A have a comfortable lead over Squirrels and Hanover A.

In the B division, the top four are pulling away from the chasing pack after winning again.

Golf Club have taken over at the top after their 8-1 win over Oakley B.

The only winner for them was Mick Neal.

Trafalgar are now level on points in second place but have played one game more then the Golfers.

Traf’s 5-4 win over the Flag was highlighted with a ten-darter from Gary Fox and big contributions from brothers Shaun (180 and 12 and 15-dart legs) and Dan Fox (15-darter).

Paul Rands, from the Flag, had a 13-darter.

Cherry Tree move closer and are now trailing by just one point, after their heavy win over the R/A Club.

Peter Sheppard was R/A’s only winner.

Ships had a narrow win at the Globe, while Royal Oak’s Alan Lovett won the last game for a 5-4 win over the Royal.

Pete Phillips scored a 180 in the pairs and Alan Scurrell had a 12-darter, both for the Royal.

Shrimpers beat Luney Club, as Lloyd Smith won the last game for a 5-4 victory.

Trevor Good (Luney Club) had a 15-darter with a 120 finish.
