THE Harwich Men’s League League Cup semi-finals were played on Good Friday.
In division A, at the Hanover, Cricket Club beat United Services 10-4.
Dave Kempen, for the Services, had a 13-dart leg, while over at the United Services club Hanover A beat the Squirrels 10-4.
Going into the singles, the score was three games each.
Hanover then won seven of the eight singles and the only winner for the Squirrels was Michael Mann, who won the last game.
Hanover’s Mick Chambers scored a 180 in the pairs and Rob Good a 180 in the singles.
In the B division semi-finals, Royal Oak just got the better of the Ships, winning 7-4.
Greg Gueizelar scored a 180 for the Ships, while in the other semi-final the game between Trafalgar and Cherry Tree went all the way to the last singles game, being locked at five games each.
The Cherries’ Dan Goff beat Traf’s Shawn Fox for a 6-5 victory.
The B division final is on May 22 at the United Services club, while the A division final will take place at the same venue on June 12.
