IND Coope A beat third-placed Hanover A 7-1, in the top game of the week in the Harwich Men’s League.
Matt Good was the only Hanover winner.
Aaron Munson, for the Hanover, scored a 180 and had a 116 finish.
Second-placed Squirrels also lost, to Ind Coope B, 5-3.
Squirrels’ Mick Parkin scored a maximum.
Maybush lost 5-3 to Little Oakley A and the Cricket Club won 5-3 at the Services.
Martin Heath and Mark Barwood, for the Cricketers, had 120 and 115 finishes.
With only a few games until the end of the season, Ind Coope A have a 14-point lead, with a game in hand over Squirrels.
Squirrels, in turn, have a six-point lead over third-placed Hanover.
Trafalgar have gone back to the top of the B division after a 7-2 win over the Shrimpers.
In second are Cherry Tree, who trail by just one point.
Cherries had a narrow win at the Shakers, 5-4.
Dan Goff had a 14-dart leg and Matt Steward a 12-dart leg and a 121 finish for the Cherry Tree.
In-form Tony Carroll, for the Shakers, had a 15-dart leg and a 115 shot-out. The Golf Club, nicely placed, have a game in hand on the top two and only trail by a couple of points as they won 6-3 at the R/A Club.
Steve Powell, for R/A Club, had a 129 finish, while fifth-placed Royal won 7-2 at Oakley B.
Oakley’s Graham Tyrrell scored 160 and Bill Cattermole had a 102 shot-out.
In-form Royal Oak beat the Flag 6-3, while the Luney Club had a 6-3 home win over the Globe.
