Chippington and Wiles earn the opportunity to defend their title
THE Harwich Ladies’ Sunday League captains’ and secretaries’ doubles took place at the Park Pavilion.
The first semi-final saw Jan Muir and Debbie Vincent, of Harwich Rangers, beat Jean Anderson and Julie Carmichael, of the Hanover.
In the other semi-final, Ann Chippington and Lesley Wiles, of the Queens, reached the final and earned the opportunity of defending their title from last year by beating Lynn Yaxley and Alayne Mead, of the New Bell.
