HARWICH and Dovercourt Cricket Club lost by 63 runs in their Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship match at Wivenhoe twos.
They picked up six points from the division five encounter, last Saturday.
Wivenhoe batted first and made 201 for eight, before bowling their visitors out for 138. This was despite a battling late 42 not out from Alan Double.
Sam Good earlier took three wickets for the Low Road side.
Harwich now have two home games over the Bank Holiday weekend, against Great Bromley tomorrow before the return match against Wivenhoe on Monday.
