Bloom gains Essex badge
RESPECTED Dovercourt Bowling Club member Pamela Bloom has been awarded her ladies’ Essex county badge.
Badges are awarded on a points basis, accumulated over five years.
Bloom, who usually skips the teams, gained her eight points for success in last year’s county competitions.
She has been a member at Dovercourt since 1999, is a popular member of the club and a very able bowler, having led her ladies’ triples team to the Bowls England national finals in August 2014.
