HARWICH and Dovercourt Cricket Club powered to a 157-run victory at home to Bury St Edmunds thirds.
Batting first in the Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship division five contest, they posted an imposing total of 281.
Opener Aaron Rudkin got them off to a flying start, making 84. Steve Bushell backed him up with 76 and Adeel Abbas made 46.
In reply, Bury were skittled for just 124.
Bushell took four wickets for 62 runs in his 15 overs and Sam Good three for three in 2.3 overs. Harwich visit Nacton tomorrow.
