HARWICH and Dovercourt Golf Club’s ladies’ invitation day was won by Pauline Rowe, Sue Keen and their partners from Playgolf Colchester, Ann Longman and Maureen Dale.
They won on countback from Chris Bradford and Carol Wrayton and their partners, Kate Feaviour, from Donnington Park, and Yvonne Davies, from Frinton.
Janet Hillier, from Clacton, was nearest the pin for the guests and Carol Wrayton for Harwich and Dovercourt.
The winner of the Challenge Bowl competition was Viv Dale.
Medal 13 was won by Linda Burrows and medal 14 by Sylvia Oliver, who also won the Breast Cancer Charity Brooch.
A friendly match against Colchester ended in a draw.
