THE tenth Harwich Parkrun saw its biggest attendance to date, with 73 runners toeing the startline by the Cliff Park bandstand.

Twenty-eight Harwich Runners took part and leading the field home for a clear win, and a course-best time of 18 minutes and 17 seconds, was Sam Gooding-Matthews.

He was followed home by fellow Harwich Runner Archie Barrington, who sliced a further six seconds from his previous best to finish an impressive fifth overall in 20m 39s.

Harwich junior Alexander McCreadie sliced a massive 1m 57s from his previous best to finish in 30m 47s.

Not to be outdone, sister Isabella also produced a huge improvement of 1m 27s to complete the course in 31m 59s.

It was certainly a day conducive to top performances, as a further slew of Harwich Runners managed their fastest-ever runs.
