HARWICH and Dovercourt High School secured a dramatic 5-4 victory after extra-time in the second round of the FA Schools Cup, against Claydon.
Their scorers were man-of-the-match Charlie Gueizlar, Adam Strange, Elliot Fay and Rauf Kebangu (two).
Harwich quickly found themselves 3-0 down and looked a shadow of the side that had previously eliminated Stanway.
However, they managed to pull one back just before half-time.
Claydon grabbed a fourth, against the run of play, but the hosts refused to panic and were soon rewarded with their second goal, followed by a third and fourth.
They then took the lead for the first time in the first half of extra-time.
Claydon then had one last chance – only to be denied by goalkeeper Quinn Bird.
