AFTER three heavy defeats, Shrimpers picked up some points in the Harwich Men’s League B division after a home win over Little Oakley B.

Dan Poole, the youngest player in the league, claimed the team’s highest finish so far with a 146 finish (treble 20 twice and double 13).

Leaders Cherry Tree beat Shakers, with the Cherries’ John Thurlow winning the last game for a 5-4 win.

Royal Oak, who beat the Luney Club 6-3, moved up to second and there are three teams on 23 points.

Flag were on a bye.

Ships’ Kris Muir had a 100 finish as his team beat Rangers 5-4.

The other team who are joint-third are R/A Club, who had a 5-4 win over the Globe.

R/A Club’s Peter Sheppard won the last game.

A division leaders Ind Coope A won all the games at Hanover B.

Coope’s Kevin Edwards scored 180 in the pairs, while John Casley, for Hanover B, had a 108 finish.

Hanover A beat Squirrels 6-3 and now go into second position, six points behind the leaders.

Hanover’s Alan Mathieson had a 130 finish and 15-dart leg.

Squirrels’ Michael Mann had a 111 finish.

Maybush won 8-1 at the Golf Club and the only winner for the Golfers was captain Eric Bushell.

Paul Sims, for the Golf Club, scored 180 and so too did Maybush’s Ciaren Swain.

George Lord had a 100 finish and Steve Lawrie a 106 finish.

Sam Self, for the Services, was the only winner as Little Oakley ran out 8-1 winners over the US Club.

Oakley’s Damien Smith had a 110 shot-out and Kevin Mucklow a 180.

The Cricket Club won 6-3 at Ind Coope B.

Martin Heath, last season’s singles champion, scored two 180s and now leads the 180s leaderboard with a total of four.
