THERE was a good turnout for the Autumn meeting at Harwich and Dovercourt Golf Club.
This is the final special event of the ladies' calendar and teams of three competed in a Texas Scramble.
Lady captain Georgina Grout, together with Sue Keen and Rose Wallace, took first place, just edging out Jane Hurst, Ruth Stapleton and Chris Bradford.
Linda Burrows claimed nearest the pin on the seventh and 16th holes and Grout was nearest the line on the second and 11th.
Elsewhere, Kate Fender won the Dumbarton Quaich, Chris Bradford the Rose Bowl and Linda Burrows and Carol Wrayton the Newton Ward.
Anne Myers won Medal 12 and Millie Gerbie Medal 14.
