North Essex Parking Partnership (Ashley and Douglas Roads, Harwich) Temporary Waiting Restrictions

Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 intends to make the following order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Essex County Council (Ashley Road and Douglas Road, Harwich) (Temporary Waiting Restriction) Order 2019

Effects of the order: To introduce no waiting at any time restrictions on the lengths of road described below. The restrictions are required to avoid danger to the public and other traffic on the road and to ensure the free flow of traffic.

1. To introduce no waiting at any time on the following lengths of roads

in the District of Tendring Road Description



Ashley Road, i) Both sides from a point 15 metres west of its Harwich junction with Ashley Road to a point 15 metres



east of the same junction Douglas Road, i) Both sides from its junction with Ashley Road Harwich north for 15 metres



The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 shall be temporarily amended in so far as it relates to the waiting restrictions detailed in this Notice.

The Order will come into operation on 01 July 2019 and may continue in force for up to 18 months or until it is made permanent. Date: 21 June 2019

(Church Road, Little Bromley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Little Bromley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Spratts Lane to its junction with Bentley Road, a distance of approximately 595m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th July 2019 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2271653 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

www.roadworks.org

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Church Road, Barton Road, Little Bromley Road, Carringtons Road, Briar Road, Back Road, Old Shield Farm Road, Waterhouse Lane, Little Bromley Road, Ardleigh Road, Shop Road, Bentley Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 27th June 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Freshfields Road Roundabout, Harwich) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Freshfields Road Roundabout, Harwich in the District of Tendring, from the exit for Freshfields Road (S) to the entrance from Freshfields Road (S) a distance of approximately 20m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th July 2019 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231003343 - Cadman Cranes). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on

www.roadworks.org

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while crane installation of a sculpture is undertaken by Cadman Cranes. An alternative route is available via Harwich Road, St Nicholas Roundabout.

The Order will come into effect on 27th June 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
