(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC PARKING, WAITING, LOADING & UNLOADING) (NORTH CRESCENT/FEECHES ROAD) ORDER 2021 TTO2032

Notice is hereby given that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council has proposed to make the above Order, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1. Morrison Energy Services will be carrying out major mains replacement works within the entire length of North Crescent and Feeches Road. It is anticipated that these works will be completed Dver a 32-week period, the road will be closed in sections as the works progress.

2. Each section of the closure for the proposed works is listed in Table 1 of this notice and will be carried out in various phases designed to minimise disruption whilst enabling the schemes to be completed in safety.



3. Further details regarding the impact of the scheme and the actual traffic management controls being applied will be included in notifications in advance of each phase, to residents and businesses as required, not forming part of this Order.



4. The effect of the order will be for the prohibition of traffic and to prohibit vehicles parking, waiting, loading and unloading in the roads included in Table 1 to this notice.



The Order will come into effect 4 January 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Access for emergency vehicles, residents and pedestrians will be always maintained during the closure.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction/prohibition imposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice and removed under the provisions of the Traffic Management Act 2004.
