Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 proposes Has Made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Effect of the order:

1. To revoke No Waiting At Any Time and replace with Limited Waiting 30 Mins No Return Within 1 Hour on the following length of road in the District of Tendring



Road Description



Main Road- South side from a point level with the west facing



Upper boundary wall of number 721 Main Road for a



Dovercourt distance of 17.0 metres west



South side 27.7 metres west from a point level with the west facing boundary wall of number 721 Main Road for a distance of 9.0 metres west

2. To introduce No Waiting At Any Time restrictions on the following lengths of road in the District of Tendring



Watson Road- North west side 12.5 metres north east from the Clacton on Sea junction with St Osyth Road for a distance of 39.7 metres north east

North west side 45.7 metres north east from the junction with St Osyth Road to a point level with the boundaries of numbers 15 & 17 Watson Road North west side 58.7 metres north east from the junction with St Osyth Road north east to its termination with Herbert Road South east side 12.5 metres north east from the junction with St Osyth Road to a point 7.0 metres south west from the junction with Herbert Road

5. To revoke Resident Permit Holders Only on the following lengths of road in the District of Tendring

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 by substituting tile numbers TM150 132 to revision 2 to revision 3, TM150 130 revision 3 to revision 4, TM170 152 revision 12 to revision 13, TM165 150 revision 4 to revision 5, TM170 150 revision 8 to revision 9, TM230 305 revision 3 to revision 4, TM230 307 revision 3 to revision 4, TM060 245 revision 1 to revision 2, TM060 242 revision 1 to revision 2 and by inserting tile number TM190 272.

Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on

5th June 2017

Further Details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.

Application To The High Court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
