Section 16 of the Commons Act 2006 Proposed deregistration of village green at: VG27 and VG239 VILLAGE GREEN
THIS NOTICE REPLACES THE NOTICE DATED 21 JULY 2017 1. M. Scott Properties Limited have applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs under section 16 of the Commons Act 2006 for land forming part of the above- mentioned registered village green (the “release land”) to cease to be so registered. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State. 2. The purpose of this application is to enable works to be carried out to an access track that crosses and is part of the Village Green all pursuant to a residential Planning Permission on the adjacent former Delfords Factory Site. 3. It is proposed that land (the “replacement land”) be registered as village green in place of the release land. 4. The release land is described in the First Schedule to this notice and the replacement land is described in the Second Schedule to this Notice. 5. A copy of the application form and accompanying documents can be inspected at Harwich Town Council, The Guildhall, Harwich, Essex CO12 3DS between the hours of 9.30am-1.00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (excluding Bank Holidays) until Monday 15 January 2018 and on the following website: http://www.delfords.mscott.co.uk . A copy of the application may be obtained by writing to Scott Properties, Suite 5 - Oyster House, Severalls Lane, Colchester, Essex CO4 9PD. 6. Any representations in respect of the proposed deregistration should be sent in writing ON or BEFORE 15 January 2018 to: Common Land Team, The Planning Inspectorate, 3F Temple Quay House, Temple Quay, Bristol BS1 6PN or commonlandcasework@pins.gsi.gov.uk , using reference ‘COM/3180684’. 7. Representations sent to The Planning Inspectorate cannot be treated as confidential. They will be copied to the applicant and possibly to other interested parties.

FIRST SCHEDULE The release land Land on the north side of Main Road, Harwich near the junction with Laurel Avenue being approximately 160m2 in area SECOND SCHEDULE The replacement land Land at Main Road, Harwich on the adjacent former Delfords factory site approximately 30m to the north west of the release land and being approximately 160m2 in area M.
