Notice of Making of an Order Highways Act 1980 Essex County Council Public Path Diversion Order 2018 Footpath 14 Elmstead

The above order, made on 31 January 2018, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert a part length of Footpath 14 Elmstead of unknown width commencing from a point north east of the A120 dual carriageway and south of Bromley Brook where an arable field meets the A120 highway embankment and a gap in the highway fence running in a westerly direction crossing the A120 before recommencing at the field boundary on the south west side of the A120 for a total distance of 146 metres to a point where the highway fencing meets the arable headland south of the A120, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing at the aforementioned start point running in a north westerly direction between the highway fence and highway embankment for 40 metres to the bottom of some steps continuing via them in a south, south westerly direction for 21 metres to a point on top of the highway embankment where it continues in a north westerly direction along the top of the embankment for 213 metres to meet the unused road bridge structure over the A120 continuing via this structure in a generally westerly direction for 83 metres to then descend via some timber steps to continue along the top of the highway embankment on the south west side of the A120 in a south easterly, easterly then south easterly direction for a final distance of 209 metres to the aforementioned end point.

A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Tendring District Council Offices, Thorpe Road, Weeley, CO16 9AJ and at Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Robert Lee, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM1 1QH no later than 15 March 2018. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objection will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985. 15 February 2018

(Lodge Lane, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lodge Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Crown Lane North for a distance of approximately 100m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th February 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034782775 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree cutting works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Crown Lane North, Old Ipswich Road, Wick Lane, Lodge Lane and vice versa.

The Order came effect on 8th February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Lodge Lane, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lodge Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Crown Lane North to its junction with Wick Lane, a distance of approximately 1189m.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th February 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2234605 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pre surface dressing works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Wick Lane, Old Ipswich Road, Crown Lane North and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 8th February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Crepping Hall Road, Wakes Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Crepping Hall Road, Wakes Colne in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Fordham Road for a distance of approximately 356m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th March 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034784130 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while electric connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Chappel road, Plummers Road, Wormingford Road, Fordham Road, Sandy Hill, Lower Road, Peartree Hill, Dowling Road, Fordham Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 22nd February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(First Avenue, Weeley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of First Avenue, Weeley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 15m east of its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 11m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th March 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000671967 - Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.

An alternative route is available via The Street, Second Avenue, Thornberry Avenue, First Avenue and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 22nd February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Frietuna Road, Kirby Cross) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Frietuna Road, Kirby Cross in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 10m southwest of its junction with Darcy Close for a distance of approximately 77m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th March 2018 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2242440 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Frietuna Road, Skyrmans Fee, Edenside, Elm Tree Avenue and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 22nd February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
