(Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Amendment No.54) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made
the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1),
35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To revoke the existing ‘Limited Waiting Mon-Sat, 8am-6pm,
2 hours no return in 4 hours’ restrictions and introduce ‘Disabled
Badge Holders Only’ on the following length of Station Road,
Dovercourt in the District of Tendring as specified:

WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 18.6 metres
northwest of the southeast boundary of 1 Station
Road, north-westwards for a distance of
approximately 5.6 metres.

2. To revoke the existing ‘Resident Permit Holders Only’ restrictions
and introduce ‘Disabled Badge Holders Only’ on the following
length of St Andrews Road and Meredith Road, Clacton on Sea
and Churchfield Road, Walton on the Naze in the District of
Tendring as specified:

SOUTH SIDE: From a point approximately 6 metres
north-west of the common boundary of 35 and 37
St Andrew’s Road, south-eastwards for a distance of
approximately 12 metres (2 disabled parking bays are
to be installed, 6 metres in length either side of the
common boundary of 35 and 37 St Andrew’s Road).

southeast of the north-western boundary of 57

NORTH SIDE: from the common boundary of 22 and
24 Churchfield Road, south-eastwards for a distance

3. To introduce ‘Disabled Badge Holders Only’ on the following length
of Pepys Street, Harwich in the District of Tendring as specified:

NORTH SIDE: From a point approximately 2.7 metres
northwest of the common boundary of 10 and
12 Pepys Street, north-westwards for a distance
of approximately 5.1 metres.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council
(Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area)
(Consolidation) Order 2008 by substituting tile numbers TM255 322
revision 1 to revision 2, TM170 150 revision 9 to revision 10, TM170
152 revision 14 to revision 15, TM250 217 revision 6 to revision 7,
TM255 315 revision 5 to revision 6.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 5 March 2018.
Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined
during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the
validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds
that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the
Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in
relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the
making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
