THE curtain comes down on the Clacton Arts and Lits season next week with Welsh baritone Anthony Stuart Lloyd.

Hailing from Cardiff, he graduated in hospitality management, but the 'Singing Chef' soon swapped a la carte for a cappella after a scholarship enabled him to attend the Royal Welsh College of Music And Drama.

Welsh National Opera recognised his immense potential and cast him in several roles.

He has sung all over Europe, while West End appearances include Jacob in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat and the Ghost of Christmas Present in the London Palladium production of Scrooge.

Anthony is accompanied by pianist Alexander Abbott when he appears at the Princes Theatre on Monday night.

Alexander has performed for the Prince and Princess of Wales, and appeared with artists such as Lionel Blair, Dana, Anita Harris, Honor Blackman and Anthony Stuart Lloyd.

The show is on Monday, March 6, at 7.30pm.

Tickets go on sale to the public on the door at 7.15pm, priced £10.
