STUNNING Chinese puppetry comes to Clacton's Princes Theatre tomorrow night.

The traditional entertainment dates back more than 2,000 years and is expressed through movement and body language as the puppets dance gracefully in their Chinese silk dresses with 10-metre long sleeves.

Hong Xu, of Jiangsu Performing Arts Group, is the leading puppeteer and has won a UNESCO world heritage award for her art, as well as performing for former president Jiang Zeming and defeated US election hopeful Hillary Clinton.

The show is on Friday, November 18, at 7.30pm. Tickets are £12 (£10 concessions, £6 under-16) on 01255 686633.
