PRIMARY school pupils were joined by their parents for a special Christmas party.
Youngsters at the Mayflower Primary School welcomed their VIP guests on Wednesday, December 19, to join in the festivities.
They decked the hall with homemade decorations including snowflakes and dolls, and sung carols and Christmas songs to their parents before tucking in to a festive feast.
More than 300 children from all school years took part in the bash suggested by mum Debbie Stacey-Irvin.
She said her son Aaron, eight, loved having his mum in school.
The day was suggested by Debbie in a recently formed school group Parent Voice, which suggests ways to support and work with the school.
