COMPUTERS are being upgraded at libraries across the county.
Essex Libraries is adding new software including Skype, picture and video editing programs and MS Office 2010.
The upgrades began in the first branches today and will be completed by the end of July.
County Hall libraries boss John Jowers said: “This is great news for members as Essex Libraries will offer faster computers with even more features.
“We apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused while the work is being carried out.”
