EASTERN European gypsy tunes blend with Django Reinhardt's swing and Balkan jazz in Harwich on Thursday night.
Manouche Rouge was put together by double bass player Viktor Obsust and features Andrea Quintarelli on guitar, violinist Kit Massey and Maurizio Minardi on accordion.
They are inspired by the music that emerged from one of Europe's top jazz centres - the Hot Club de France, where guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grapelli formed the famous Quintette du Hot Club de France in the 1930s.
Manouche Rouge are at the Electric Palace on September 12 at 8pm. Tickets are £11 plus membership.
