A HEALTH centre’s plans for expansion have been given the go-ahead.
The Riverside Health Care Centre in Manningtree, has been given permission by Tendring Council, to extend its current building, in Station Road, providing additional consulting rooms, support facilities and a new entrance.
It currently has four consulting rooms and nurse rooms and wants to extend this to seven.
The number of patients the centre deals with has contributed to the need to expand.
The site is owned by the East of England Co-operative Society but leased to the health centre.
