A 100-YEAR-OLD church will hold its final service on Sunday.
St Paul’s Church, in Makins Road, Parkeston, will close to public worship after the service.
The date will mark almost 100 years of St Paul’s, and the final service will be used to celebrate this.
After two consultations the decision was taken to close the church which had been hit by vandalism and lead theft.
The repair bill was in the region of £200,000.
There will be a display of photographs and memorabilia detailing people’s memories of the church and village life.
The service will be held from 3pm.
