NEW community boards in Dovercourt have been hailed a success.
High steward Chris Strachan sponsored the new signs at the amusement arcade on Lower Marine Parade where projects based in Harwich and Dovercourt and in wider north Essex are invited to exhibit their events.
They are joined by a large map of Harwich showing visitors where the town’s attractions are, backed by the town council.
“They are all up and working and being well used with the town map there being a big success,” said Mr Strachan.
“Anyone wanting to display their groups can take posters to Tom and Dan Jackson in the arcade and they do a wonderful job of pasting them up and keeping it all looking good.
“Everyone is very happy with how it looks after lots of hard work by the arcade, Harwich Town Council, Tendring Council, artists, carpenters and many more.”
