A CHURCH went back in time for a day of medieval fun.
Families flocked to St Mary’s Church in Lawford last Saturday to see Morris dancers, traditional stalls, sideshows, storytelling and a teddy bear parachute jump.
Organiser Liz Herrett said: “We had a lovely time and all the rain went away in time.
“It was a lovely family friendly atmosphere for everyone who attended.
“We did something similar two years ago and thought it was a good idea to do an event a little different from the usual stalls.
“Most of the people got dressed up and into the spirit so it was a great day."
