THOUSANDS of people turned out to enjoy the first ever All the Fun at the Furze day.
A giant family picnic, inflatables, dozens of side stalls and shows were among the many attractions on the go.
It was all rounded off by performances from five bands and a fireworks display in the evening.
Last Saturday’s event on Furze Hills, Mistley, was organised jointly by its parish council and neighbouring Lawford and Manningtree councils.
David Ashley, vice-chairman of Lawford Parish Council, said about 2,500 people attended.
“It went really well and there were lots of people in good spirits,” he added The not-for-profit event is due to return in 2016.
