PUPILS are set to design their school rugby team’s new shirt.
Kids from Harwich and Dovercourt High School are taking part in a workshop to design the top with the help of England Rugby kit supplier Canterbury.
The workshops are part of the All Schools programme launched in 2012 by the Rugby Football Union and Rugby Football Foundation to encourage more secondary school pupils to take up the sport.
Harwich and Dovercourt High School is one of a hundred new schools joining for 2014.
One of Canterbury’s designers will talk pupils through the process of designing a shirt which will be produced free of charge.
Harwich and Dovercourt High School will take part in the Canterbury Kit Design workshop at Bury St Edmunds RUFC on September 18.
