YOUNGSTERS from across Tendring are to be given important safety advice.
The annual Crucial Crew event takes place next month at Dovercourt Caravan Park.
Hundreds of primary school pupils will be given lessons from a wide range of organisations including Essex Police, Essex Fire and Rescue and the RNLI.
Other groups attending to offer advice to the 10-11 year olds include Only Cowards Carry, CVS Tendring and Tendring Council Emergency Planning.
The event, organised by Tendring Council’s Community Safety Team, takes places from November 10 to 20.
Lynda McWilliams, cabinet member for wellbeing and partnerships, said: “We want to open young people’s eyes to potential dangers around them and we expect around 1,400 children to attend.”
