A DOVERCOUR pub and a former allotment site in Mistley have been named as assets of community value.
Tendring Council’s cabinet approved the proposals at a meeting last Friday.
Harwich Town Council put in the request for the Trafalgar pub in Main Road and Mistley Parish Council applied for the Brunswick Allotment site to be named an asset.
The status gives both councils first refusal if either are put up for sale.
