A FOURTH challenge has been launched over multi-million-pound plans to transform Mistley’s historic quayside.
Maltings firm Edme and Gladedale Estates were given the go-ahead to bulldoze the old Thorn Quay warehouse and replace it with a new flagship development, made up of 45 homes, offices and storage space last year.
Earlier this month, nearby logistics company Trent Wharfage Logistics (TWL) tried to take the project to the Court of Appeal, but had its application forajudicial review turned down.
Tendring councillor Carlo Guglielmi told Mistley Parish Council TWL was now challenging the decision again.
He said: “They are now seeking permission to have an oral hearing at the Court of Appeal.”
