PLANS forahuge development that could see up to 300 homes built between Mistley and Lawford could be submitted this summer.
Property specialists Strutt and Parker revealed their masterplan for farmland between Long Road, Lawford, and Clacton Road, Mistley, ataexhibition at Mistley village hall on Tuesday.
The plan was drawn up following feedback gathered from an exhibition in December.
The proposed masterplan would see up to 300 homes built, two hectares of employment land, public open space, two entrance points and pedestrian and cycle routes.
Strutt and Parker hope to submit the plans by mid-2015.
But residents at the exhibition said they continue to be worried the infrastructure of the two villages would be unable to cope with more people, especially combined with the newly-approved Summer’s Park estate off Cox’s Hill by Rose Builders.
