BURGLARS searched children’s bedrooms during a morning raid at a house in Dedham.
The thieves entered a house in Long Road West between 8.15am and 9.45am on Friday by smashing through rear patio doors.
Jewellery, watches, cash, bottles of perfume and two Playstation Four games were taken.
The day before a man was seen looking at properties on the road at approximately 2pm.
He is described as early 40s, olive skinned, 5ft 10ins tall with short black hair and a stocky build and was wearing a white t-shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms while smoking a cigarette.
The man was walking towards the crossroads of Long Road West and Coggeshall Road.
On the day of the burglary two people were seen in the area near the house at approximately 9.20am. One was wearing white trousers and the other light blue trousers.
