A MAN has been arrested after he was discovered hiding in a bush by a police dog.
The 19-year-old from Harwich was arrested on suspicion of stealing a van just before 10.30pm on June 17.
He was apprehended in Wix Road, Ramsey, when PSCO Matthew Ladkin from Harwich Neighbourhood Policing Team spotted him running away from him.
Dog handler Pc Mike Baldwin and his German Shepherd Boris were called to the scene and the man was discovered in a bush.
The van had been stolen from a location in Suffolk.
He was handed over to Suffolk Police for questioning.
He has been released on bail until August 7 pending further investigation.
