YOUNG readers are being urged to keep busy over the summer by joining the latest reading challenge.
The Record Breakers Summer Reading Challenge which has been organised by Essex Libraries gives children the chance to borrow any six library books up until September 5.
As they read, children aged four to 11 can collect stickers to complete a free poster.
The theme this year is Record Breakers, thanks to a partnership with Guinness World Records.
Older children can also take part in ImagiNation, a reading and arts programme to develop creativity.
Last year more than 42,800 children took part in Essex. To sign up, visit your nearest library.
