A BLAZE in a kitchen left two people needing first aid.
Firefighters were called to a fire in a kitchen in Walder Grave Way, Manningtree, at 2.08pm on Friday October 2.
The fire was already out on arrival but two people were suffering the effects of smoke inhalation.
Firefighters administered first aid and oxygen therapy to the two occupants, before leaving them in the care of the ambulance service.
A spokesperson for Essex Fire Service said: "A community first responder was also quickly on the scene.
"The fire was already out when we arrived so there won't have been too much damage."
