A WIND turbine the height of eight double-decker buses will be built in Bradfield after Tendring Council granted planning permission.
Tendring Council has granted planning permission for the turbine at Goldenferry Farm in Cansey Lane.
The turbine will be operated for 25 years, after which it will be decommissioned and removed from the site.
The council received eight letters of objection and ten conditions have been imposed on the approval.
It was felt that the structure was located far enough away from other properties and the noise from it would not cause an unacceptable loss of amenity.
