DOORS, gates, and drawbridges at Harwich’s top attractions are being opened for the summer season.
Harwich Society volunteers have been working hard behind the scenes to prepare the town’s top historical sites for visitors.
The Redoubt Fort, Maritime Museum, High Lighthouse, Lifeboat Museum, The Ha’Penny Pier visitor centre and New World Exhibition, Radar Tower, and Bobbits Hole Nature Reserve are all open to the public throughout the summer.
Free guided walking tours of historic Harwich are also being held every Saturday departing from the Ha’Penny Pier visitor centre at 2pm.
