A HAULAGE depot in Tendring village has been given the green light to expand.
The site on the southern side of Heath Road was originally granted a lawful use certificate in 2008 as a vehicle transfer depot and repair site.
It has now been given the go-ahead by Tendring Council to put up a secure parking enclosure for loaded transporter vehicles.
The structure will be 25 metres by 12 metres and will be 8.2 metres high.
The council decided the proposal would support sustainable growth of a business in a rural area and would not be detrimental to its character.
