A TEENAGE burglar fled through the front door of a house with jewellery after being disturbed by a homeowner in Dovercourt.
The crook forced his way into a property in Nightingale Close at about 12.15am on Tuesday, February 6.
He stole an Omega Geneve watch as well as a men’s wedding ring, cufflinks, a dress watch and dress rings.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "During the incident a bedroom was searched and items of jewellery were taken.
"The person seen in the house was described as a boy in his late teens, about 5ft 7ins tall, and wore dark clothing.
"He was disturbed by the victim and fled through the front door of the property."
