YOUNGSTERS put down their Easter eggs and picked up a host of new sports.
About 150 children of all ages took part in a range of activities at Manningtree Sports Centre during the school Easter break.
Fun sessions included football, athletics, climbing, a roller disco and plenty of bouncy soft play fun.
On Tuesday, children were able to try out different sports as part of the venue’s multi-sports day for ages 5 to 13.
Steve Ham, centre manager, said: “Everyone had lots of fun, with many children trying out new activities for the first time.
“It was the perfect way to burn off those Easter eggs.”
During the holidays, Harwich Sports Centre also had new gymnastics classes, racquet sports, soft play and football while Dovercourt Bay Lifestyles had fun swimming sessions.
