POLICE are appealing for information on a man acting suspiciously in Mistley.
A man was challenged by the owner of a vehicle after he was caught looking inside the window with the alarm sounding in Harwich Road, at about 6.30pm on Monday, April 30.
The suspect then walked off.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "He has been described as white, of a stocky build, around 5ft 10s and had short dark hair.
"Anyone with information is asked to call Pc Steven Baldwin at Braintree police station on 101 quoiting crime reference 42/59437/18 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
