BANK workers raised cash for a breast cancer charity by holding a fundraising day at their town centre branch last week.
Natwest staff were raising money for Wear It Pink by decorating the Braintree bank and holding a raffle and tombola for customers.
Stephen Lawrence, branch manager, said: "It's such a worthy cause to be supporting, it's something which everyone can relate to because we all know someone who has been affected.
"I can't take any of the credit for organising it, the girls had the idea and they've been brilliant in putting it all together."
Staff at the branch in High Street wore pink and encouraged customers to pay a suggested donation to take part in the raffle.
Wear It Pink, which raises money for breast cancer research, held its annual awareness day, which asks people to wear pink, last Friday.
The total they raised will be revealed this week. Visit www.wearitpink.org for more information.
