HISTORIANS taught school children by holding a Great Fire of London day.
Key Stage One students at Harwich Community Primary School were visited by History Off the Page.
For the morning the children dressed up and took part in different workshops and made artefacts to keep.
During the afternoon the students became archaeologists and sifted through the remains of houses to piece together evidence of how the fire started.
Teacher Charlotte Curle said: “The children all loved the day and learnt so many facts through the hands on experience.”
